My name is Kristene Manrique Callanta. I’m trying to track down any relatives I may still have in Marinduque. I’m told that is where the Manriques are from. My mother, Olivia (born Olivia Miguela Bernardo Manrique), was born in Marinduque in 1945. My grandfather, Ricardo Manrique (born Juan Ricardo Luz Manrique) was born in Poblacion, Boac, Marinduque, Philippines in 1915 according to his marriage certificate. I’m told one of his sisters (Clemencia Manrique) still lives in Boac. Other Manrique relatives I’ve not located are: Arturo Manrique, Estela Manrique Livelo, Rudolfo Livelo, Luzviminda Livelo, Iluminada Manrique Nepumoceno, Teresita Manrique Dypianco, & Therese Marie Dypianco.
Also, if anyone has any information re: my ancestors. I’d greatly appreciate the effort to pass the info on to me. I’ve only been able to trace my family back to my great-grandparents, Andres Manrique and his wife Tomasa Luz Manrique.

My name is Scott. I’m a former U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer (’92-’95) who worked in Buenavista. My best friend was Tik Soleta. I’m trying to contact him. Hope someone can help. I worked with Dr. Gadi, Elsa Tan, Irma Magamit and other wonderful people in the Rural Health Unit. I would really like to make contact with them all. They were truly good friends I miss very much. Mayor Pe treated me like a son. My experience living in Buenavista was fantastic. I would like to make contact with all my old kaibigans from Buenavista. Someone, please help.
